Konrad and I went to the zoo in Falardeau with Aunt Mireille,, Jennyfer, Melissa, and her boyfriend Patrick. The zoo was super interactive. We got to pet the animals and feed them!
Here are some red deer and white tail deer. They were very polite eaters.

This was a enclosure with 3 cow moose. We came here specifically to see them but they were so far away! One moose in the distance had a calf with her. Everybody was just laying down enjoying the sunshine.

These fallow deer were my favorite. They remind me of Moeno’s dog Shou because their eyes are so far apart. They were really small and made a quiet “unh unh” noise.

Here is a big grizzly enjoying his jacuzzi. He got out at some point and walked up to the fence. Everyone backed up immediately because we thought he would shake the water like a dog.

Feeding the emus was really intimidating! They peck so violently but it doesn’t hurt. It feels like someone is hitting your hand with a plastic trowel.
This was a greedy raccoon. He wasn’t supposed to be fed by the visitors but he kept reaching his hands out to grab things in the dirt. At some point he gave up and just sat there with his arm hanging out and we got to touch him.
There were three different species of lemur at the zoo. This lemur had a tiny baby clinging to her tummy. We also saw a kangaroo joey in its pouch but couldn’t get a good picture.
Here is Konrad feeding a Wapiti. So majestic! The bull was a BULLY!
